RECOVERING OUR FIRST LOVE
As we site down
We reflect of how it has all been
What was not in our life has crept in
The love for the things of this world
It manner of life and celebrations
Then we realize we’ve left
Our first love something is wrong somewhere
What went wrong? (Www)
The love of God and His things are now replaced
With the love of the world and the its things
The passions of souls now replace
With the passion of material things
The power of the word of God is gone
We’ve muddle up the word and take away Christ.
Take a thought of how it all started
The zeal for the house of God
The passion for soul
The unquenchable love for God and the brethren
How is this entire toady?
Remember where thou have fallen
Make a step today and come back
Back to the father’s love your first love
To that place where you started
And say this prayer from your heart:
Am coming back lord
Have discovered myself
Deep down within me things are not the same
Any more have lost my first love
Am come coming back to the father’s love
To the porter’s house take me and remold me
And keep me near the cross at the foot of the cross
Straighten all the ties
That binds me closer, closer walk with thee
Every bridge is burnt behind me
Thine forever lord to thee
I need you more then words can say.
Their lord as the time pass by
I we be by your side cause I don’t
Want to go back to my own life
I need you more, more then yesterday
