There is this need for association

To be attach to someone somewhere

Whose got our back for real not faking it

Who walks in on you when the world walks out on you

Who never uses your weakness against you

Who is ready to stand by yourself even when you messed up

With the right kind of materials

To make this friendship strong enough

To withstand the enemy of friendship

As they say friendship spans distance

Stretches beyond boundaries

Cutting across religious affiliation

In uniting two strangers to share mutual bond

Friendship is one of God’s greatest gifts for mankind

Friendship is that part of life

That keeps life going on and on just like that

Tomorrow never changes anything when it comes in friendship

It spans time, distance, creed and religious dogmatism

But of what when a friend is turn inside out

In becoming a pain in the neck

Turns out to be a foe to contend with

Drunk with the wine of envy

The envy so strong that ran into premeditative murder

As life drifts on in this journey called life

A friend that once was a brother

Turns out to become a foe

A friend or foe

A foe that is always at war with a friend

All because life treats is friend well

Instead of wearing the mask of happiness

In been happy for this is friend for life been so kind for that friend

It turns out to be like a stab at the back of this is friend

Foe

Of what will you get in return for this act

This act of becoming inhuman

Picking up the character of an animal

While long ago you drop the act of being a human

Inhuman you become

Full of envy that drives you to inevitable quit end

Full of deceits and hate that makes you on premeditative murder

When jealous set in and murder takes it center place

A friend is someone who knows you and loves you in the same

A foe is a tractor of so much hypocrisy found inside such a being
